The PRC works to raise awareness, connect people to resources, and motivate people to take action to prevent drug abuse in Hawaii. Features include the state’s most comprehensive collection of books, periodicals, brochures, factsheets, and videos on drug abuse, prevention, and related issues. The PRC will mail information statewide.
Residential day care and outpatient treatment for adults. Teen CARE is now in 20 middle and high schools on O‘ahu and Kaua‘i, as well as providing community based services to adolescents at our Waianae, Waipahu, and Kaneohe locations.
Hina Mauka’s Family Program is offered to family and friends of persons addicted to alcohol and other drugs. Participants learn about addiction, the effects of addiction on relationships, and their role in their recovery process.
Successful teen substance abuse and behavioral health services along with DOE classes in a residential group home setting (CBR3) for teens from throughout the state on our Kahalu`u campus and featuring therapeutic ocean activities.
