See below for ongoing volunteer opportunities in and around Kaneohe. We also post new and short-term volunteer opportunities on our blog.

Heeia Stream Restoration Project

Volunteers will help restore Heeia Stream by:

  • Clearing areas of non-native species and debris,
  • Spreading mulch
  • Planting native species, and
  • Maintaining planted areas.

Please wear shoes and work clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and dirty. Bring a water bottle, snack and work gloves if you would like them.

Volunteers of all ages are invited to help maintain this project. Participants under age 16 must have adult supervision. Participants under the age of 18, attending without their parent or legal guardian, must bring the signed waiver.

Workdays are every 3rd Saturday of the month from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM. All events are open to the public, drop-ins are welcome but an RSVP is appreciated. To RSVP, please call 381-7202. Visit Hui O Koʻolaupoko’s web site for further information.

PACT/Kaneohe Community Family Center (KCFC)

Current opportunities include:

  • Clerical Assistant
    Offer clerical office assistance to the KCFC staff, including, inputting information into databases, helping with the distribution and photocopying of the newsletter, updating and maintaining the website, and any other special projects that may arise.
  • Program Planning Internships
  • Service Learning Opportunities

In addition to the above, we always have a need for volunteers to help us prepare for workshops and other events we host. We can also help you connect with other community organizations in need of your assistance.  Here are a few upcoming events that we are in need of volunteers:
